Southern Maryland RUSH Soccer Club

The objective of the Southern Maryland RUSH Soccer Club's Travel Program is to provide year-round soccer training that will develop players to their greatest potential, focusing on top-quality instruction and exposure to the highest levels of competition. These teams will compete in travel leagues throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic states, and will participate in highly competitive tournaments.

It is our goal to offer these players optimal opportunities to gain the recognition that will enable them to achieve continued success as athletes on the country's top collegiate teams, United States national teams, and/or professional soccer teams.

The Southern Maryland RUSH Soccer Club will:

• Compete at the highest level, both nationally and internationally.
• Provide a platform to give players the highest quality of training and competition.
• Encourage players to participate on state, regional, and national teams.
• Represent the entire Tri-County region of Southern Maryland including Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties.

Our club exists to allow any player, irrespective of ability, the opportunity to take their game to the height of their potential. Players play with other players of like-ability with various levels of commitment throughout. Higher the level, greater the commitment. Rush believes in striving for excellence and as players progress, they are constantly put in new situations to provide a greater challenge if indeed that is what the player desires. For our top players their goals include playing on the Rush Select teams, ODP state teams, regional teams, national teams, college teams, professional teams, etc. For our club, we want to push our players to “the next level”. This “next level” may be different for every player.

Who are the Rush?

Rush Soccer was formed in 2002 under the leadership of the Colorado Rush Soccer Club in order to broaden the scope of its proven coaching, player development and administrative methodologies to a national and now global level. By affiliating with qualified soccer clubs throughout the United States and the World, Rush Soccer uses personnel, technical and intellectual property exchanges to create efficiencies through economies of scale, promote player, coach and tournament exchanges, develop proprietary information technology applications, provide administrative and technical consulting, streamline branding opportunities and maximize potential for fundraising and sponsorship support.
